Roberta Valdez, LPN
Roberta received her Associate’s Degree in Science from Luna Community College in Las Vegas, New Mexico, in May 1999. She began her nursing career in rural areas as an LPN and as a Personal Care Supervisor for a home health agency in northeastern New Mexico for ten years. In November 2008, Roberta began working as a nurse in an aggressive male unit at the New Mexico Behavior Health Institute (NMBHI), the only state owned and operated psychiatric hospital in New Mexico. Among many assignments, Roberta has worked as a psychiatric nurse in several of the Adult Psychiatric Division units at NMBHI, and continues to offer compassionate care at the state hospital today.
Roberta joined the medical team at Life Healing Center in March of 2014. Her leadership and experience in the behavioral health field quickly led to her appointment as Nurse Supervisor on LHC’s leadership team.
When Roberta is not at working at NMBHI or Life Healing Center, she can be found enjoying time with her grandsons, cheering on the sidelines at their sporting events, listening to music and watching movies.
