Kaytea is one of the Resident Therapists and Interns at Life Healing Center, facilitating some of the psycho-education groups and co-facilitates the grief and loss group. Kaytea is working towards her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Southwestern College. She is particularly interested in action methods and group psychotherapy, as she passionately believes in the powerful healing that comes from group work.
Kaytea’s orientation and practice focuses on the primacy and power of relationship while bringing in mindfulness based practices. Kaytea has an experiential approach which she brings in to all the groups she works with and enjoys weaving in DBT skills in an experiential way. Her current Gurus are her clients, students and all the teachers in the field of interpersonal neurobiology.
When Kaytea is not at LHC she enjoys being in nature, hiking with her dogs Booker and Avi, doing hot yoga, seeing live music/shows, preparing and enjoying delicious food with friends and family.
