Jessica began her career in broadcast journalism after graduating from the University of North Texas. She spent ten years as a news reporter/anchor. Jess used journalism as a way to give people a voice in which they otherwise would not have and had a passion for creating positive change in people’s lives.
Her passion to help others comes from her own experience in recovery – which not only changed the trajectory of her life, but also her career.
After working as a marketing and PR consultant for various non-profits, she felt called to “pay it forward.” Jessica is a licensed chemical dependency counselor in Texas and after working with numerous clients in residential treatment, she started a new chapter of her life in New Mexico.
As Director of Marketing and Business Development at The Life Healing Center in Santa Fe, she combines her passion for business, recovery and human connection.
Jessica loves the outdoor opportunities in and around Santa Fe. You’ll find her fly-fishing the beautiful rivers and streams New Mexico has to offer, going on hikes with her dog, Henry and working in her vegetable garden.
