Elizabeth “Lily” Morrill, BA, LMHC
Lily graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine with a BA in Environmental Studies. After years of working for non-profits and companies focused on social justice and environmental issues, Lily became fascinated with mental health. Lily graduated from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado with a degree in Somatic Psychotherapy (concentration in Body Psychotherapy). Lily is a clinical mental health counselor with a focus on somatic, body-based therapeutic interventions.
The theoretical orientation of somatic psychotherapy is based on the premise that body and mind are of the same fabric. Lily focuses on developing and harnessing the body mind connection for the greatest therapeutic value – this is especially valuable in working with trauma and emotional regulation. Attachment work, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy all heavily inform her work. Lily’s goal is to be in service of her clients, to support them in being able to live their lives fully.
Lily is honored to work at Life Healing Center with such incredible colleagues and clients.
