Frequently Asked Questions About Life Healing Center

How much will treatment cost?

Treatment costs can vary considerably because no two patients’ needs are identical. Life Healing Center’s admissions team will help you understand the upfront costs of residential care at our center, and will work with you to process your insurance benefits.

Will my insurance cover treatment?

At Life Healing Center, we’ll help you verify your health insurance benefits as part of the admissions process so that you can make the most of your coverage. We’ll work with you to help you understand your financial obligations, so that you can fully focus on your recovery during your time with us. We accept most major insurance plans including American Behavioral, Beacon Health Options, Blue Cross Blue Shield, ComPsych, Galaxy Health Network, and more.

Will my family be involved in my treatment?

Family is often a critical component of the recovery process, and at Life Healing Center, we welcome our patients’ families to participate in the treatment journey. As needed, family members are invited to attend family therapy sessions either by phone or online. These sessions are designed to help improve communication and heal relationships with loved ones.

Can I leave if I don’t like treatment?

Residential treatment at Life Healing Center is a voluntary experience. This means that you are free to leave the program if you desire. However, we find that most individuals commit to staying with us as they work toward making progress in their recovery journey.

Can I bring my laptop, cell phone or other electronics? What items are not allowed?

Prior to admission, you will be provided with a thorough list of items to bring to our center to help make your stay more comfortable. We will also provide a list of prohibited items, such as cell phones, that may detract from the success of your experience.

What does a normal day in treatment look like?

Your normal day will consist of a variety of structured therapeutic activities with plenty of time for meditation and reflection. Our patients attend individual and group counseling throughout the week, and will focus on a mindfulness approach to healing within these interventions.

What is a residential program? What can I expect?

During residential treatment at Life Healing Center, you will have 24/7 support from our team of medical and mental health professionals. This intensive treatment experience is designed to help you focus all of your efforts on your recovery by eliminating the distractions of day to day life. Prior to discharge from this program, you will be guided towards next steps so that you can continue to build on the progress you made in residential care.

What ages do you treat?

At Life Healing Center, we welcome adults ages 18 and above.

What types of problems/disorders do you treat?

Do you offer a detox program?

Each person will be thoroughly assessed during admission to determine if detox would be a beneficial first step in treatment. If so, he or she will have access to sub-acute detox services so that harmful substances can be removed from his or her body and mind prior to accessing other levels of care.

What types of therapies and programs do you use?

At Life Healing Center, we are proud to provide a holistic treatment approach, focusing on increasing mindfulness throughout the healing process. You will have access to individual, group, and family counseling, among other supports.

Is there a typical length of stay?

Most individuals participate in our residential programming for 30 days and have the option to extend services with continuing care. As with all aspects of our program, length of stay is personalized. The length of time that you will remain in treatment with us will be determined by your specific needs, goals, and progress.
