About the Life Healing Center of Santa Fe

Staff members are on grounds at all times. We provide 24 hour/7 days a week supervision, monitoring, and care.

Masters level therapists, as well as certified Alcoholism/Drug Abuse counselors, all licensed by the State of New Mexico.

1 to 1 sessions two (2) times per week with Primary Therapist.
1 to 1 sessions, as clinically indicated, with our Chemical Dependency Specialists, Eating Disorder Specialists, Dietitian, Sex Addiction Specialists, Art/Expressive Arts Therapists, EMDR Practitioners, Body-centered Psychotherapists, and Spiritual Counselor.
Individual psychiatric evaluation and medication consult with one of our Staff Psychiatrists within first 48 hours of admission.
No extra charges for any of these services.

Most therapy groups are co-facilitated.
Average size of groups: Core Groups: 8-10; Other Groups: 8-16
Over 40 hours of group therapy per week (not including 12 Step and Other Self-Help Meetings)

Trauma Recovery: 10 hrs./week (including 2 hrs. of Art Therapy)
Chemical Dependency Recovery: 2 hrs./week
Eating Disorders Recovery: 2 hrs./week
Sex /Love Addiction Recovery: Gender specific: Men - 1 hr./week - Women - 2 hrs./week; Co-ed groups: 2 hrs./week
Co-Dependency Recovery: 3 hrs./week
All Community All Recovery: 3 hrs./week
DBT Skills + Diary Review: 4 hrs./week
Anger Work: 2 hrs./week
Body Awakening: 2 hrs./week
Co-ed Body Image: 2 hrs./week
Women's Wellness: 1 hr./week
Men's Issues: 1 hr./week
Grief and Loss: 2 hrs./week
Spirituality: 3 hrs./week
Weekend Process: 3 hrs./week
Weekend Expressive Arts: 2 hrs./week

Three (3) day family program for clients and their loved ones (at an additional fee)

Meetings are offered both on campus and in the Santa Fe community to which we provide transportation.

Psychiatrists:

Beyond the initial evaluation, our Staff Psychiatrists are available, as needed, for on-going consultation and follow-up sessions at an additional charge.

Body Work and Equine Therapy:

Transportation to a state-of-the-art fitness facility is provided six (6) times per week. There is no additional cost for this service.
Massage Therapy is available by massage therapists trained to work with trauma survivors. These services are offered on campus at an additional cost averaging $60.00/hr.
Yoga is offered five (5) times per week on campus at no extra charge.
Acupuncture is available, at an additional cost, on campus.
Equine Psychotherapy is offered, when clinically appropriate, at an additional charge.

Career Counseling:

Career counseling is available, when clinically appropriate, at an additional fee.

Admissions:

There is no charge for the initial telephone assessment or for the admission process.

Transportation:

Upon arrival, an LHC Staff member picks up each client at the airport, as well as transports each client to the airport at the time of discharge.
Transportation is provided to off-campus appointments/meetings, e.g. doctors, dentists, 12-Step meetings, church, and community outings. There is no extra charge for this service.
